I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.

Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
