Ariana Grande visited Singapore for the international launch of Wicked: For Good

Devoted supporters of the actress are demanding that a person who jumped a fence and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating footage shows the Australian man shoving aside photographers and lunging at Grande while the performers walked down a promenade surrounded by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was set to appear on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile includes recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last year.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is evidently a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over Grande's Past Trauma

Numerous fans criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the end of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented one more message on Instagram.

A number of attendees also questioned event staff at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while some requested digital services to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked surprised when she was approached by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Many of Singapore attendees had lined up to greet the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of attendees had gathered in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The movie, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-part interpretation of the acclaimed stage production Wicked, which focuses on the surprising friendship between two distinct sorceresses.

The show itself is a derivative of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of last year in the UK, and received a dozen award recognitions, earning several for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
